AI is a controversial topic and in the news a lot. AI cannot research your genealogy for you, but this session will help us learn how to ask better questions and how to discover new research possibilities as we use AI. Pamela Ellis will share ways to use AI to help uncover overlooked records, decipher old handwriting, explore family connections, map historical land and migration routes, and distinguish between people with the same name. We've all encountered those dreaded "brick walls" and this session may help us knock through those walls.
Date: November 14, 2026
